TORONTO, Feb. 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alexandria Minerals Corporation (TSX-V:AZX) (OTCQB:ALXDF) (Frankfurt:A9D) (“AZX” or the “Company”) confirms it has received a requisition from Eric Owens, former Chief Executive Officer who was terminated with cause on February 14, 2018, requesting a special meeting of AZX shareholders.
The Board of Directors is reviewing the requisition and will respond in due course. Shareholders are not required to take any action at this time.
Despite the unnecessary time and money that Mr. Owen’s action will require, the Board remains focused on continuing to deliver on its plan to maximize value for all shareholders.
