Victoria, British Columbia (FSCwire) - Erin Ventures Inc. ("Erin") [TSXV: EV] announces the results of its Annual General and Special Meeting held on January 22, 2016. A quorum of shareholders representing, in person and by proxy, a total of 80,437,469 Common Shares (approximately 28.44% of the total outstanding Common Shares) were present. All the resolutions presented to the shareholders were approved (see the SEDAR filing of the Company's Information Circular, dated December 22, 2015 for details).
Specifically, the following resolutions were approved:
1. To accept the audited financial statements for the fiscal period ended June 30, 2015 and the auditor's report thereon.
2. To set the number of Directors to be elected (set at 4).
3. To elect Directors for the ensuing year. Elected: Tim Daniels; Dragoljub Jujic; Vladan Milosevic; James Wallis.
4. To appoint auditors for the ensuing year and to authorize the directors to fix the remuneration of the auditors. Appointed - Morgan LLP, Chartered Accountants.
5. Approval of Erin’s Stock Option Plan.
The results of the vote on the election of the Board of Directors are as follows:
