Gitennes acquires property in the Barkerville Gold Belt

VANCOUVER, June 3, 2016 /CNW/ - Gitennes Exploration Inc. (TSXV – GIT) has acquired a property through staking mining claims in the northern part of the Barkerville Gold Belt.

Gitennes' Property is in an area with a history of placer mining and the Property is the site of an active placer mine.  The local placer miner who identified the opportunity for Gitennes has been granted a 2% NSR on all hard rock mineral products.

The Barkerville Gold Belt has seen renewed interest in the last few years and Gitennes' property is located in an area that has seen substantial recent staking activity.

The Property is accessible by all-weather highways and by secondary roads leading east from Highway 97.

Gitennes personnel have visited the Property and the Company intends to do additional evaluations and logistical work during the summer.  Following the additional work it is anticipated the Property will require geological mapping, soil sampling and possibly geophysics.
