VANCOUVER, Aug. 24, 2017 /CNW/ - Garibaldi Resources (TSX.V: GGI) (the "Company" or "Garibaldi") is pleased to report that further to its news release of August 18, 2017, diamond drilling has commenced this morning at the Company's 100%-owned E&L Project at Nickel Mountain in the heart of the mineral rich Eskay Camp in northwest British Columbia.
Significantly, a follow-up surface electromagnetic survey completed by SJ Geophysics Ltd. supports the existence of a deep conductor, as detected by the recently completed VTEM airborne survey, beginning immediately below the historic E&L nickel-copper-rich mineralized zones at a depth of approximately 140 meters (Anomaly "D").
Volterra Borehole EM will be performed upon the completion of the first drill hole to direct and guide diamond drill targeting.
