LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - March 9, 2017) - Highland Copper Company Inc. (TSX VENTURE:HI) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has increased the size of its previously announced non-brokered private placement to up to 265,000,000 units of its securities at a price of $0.10 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share of the Company and one half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will be exercisable to acquire one common share at C$0.15 for a period of 12 months from the closing date. The Company expects to close a final tranche of the private placement by March 17, 2017 subject to receipt of all requisite approvals, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The Company issued a total of 49,429,091 units under the first and second tranches of the private placement that closed on November 30, 2016 and February 22, 2017, respectively.
