Mr. Gonzalez has a long and distinguished career in exploration in over 30 countries in North, Central, and South America, Central and Eastern Asia and in Africa. During his career of more than 40 years, he has mixed worldwide mineral exploration and resource evaluation with several years of mineral production and management; in this business, this mixture of exploration and production is considered to be very rare.
Mr. Gonzalez holds a MSc degree in geology from the University of New Mexico, U.S.A. and is a registered Life Member as a professional engineer in Manitoba and as a professional geologist in British Columbia.
In addition, he sits on the Advisory Board with the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico and is an active mentor for students in the School of Mineral Engineering and the Department of Geology and Environmental Sciences.
