K2 Gold Completes Termination of Option Agreement on Flume Property

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- K2 Gold Corporation (the "Company" or "K2 Gold", TSX-V: KTO) announces that further to its news release on August 23, 2018, the Company has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange and issued 285,283 common shares to Commander Resources Ltd. (“Commander”), to settle the debt owing to Commander under the terms of the termination of the Flume Property Option Agreement.
The Company no longer has any interest in the Flume Property nor does it have any further obligations to Commander with respect to the Option Agreement.
The securities issued by K2 Gold in connection with the termination of the Option Agreement are subject to a four month hold expiring on January 26, 2019, as prescribed by applicable securities laws.
Following the issuance of these securities, K2 Gold now has 23,889,070 common shares issued and outstanding.
