Nov. 7, 2016 - Orefinders Resources Inc. ("Orefinders" or the "Company") (TSX.V: ORX) is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed its crushing and trucking of its 100% owned Mirado Mine Stockpile resource. Approximately 26,000 tonnes of resource have been crushed on site at the Mirado project, then trucked to the Westwood Mine facility.
"The Orefinders team has essentially completed its tasks with the resource now being in the hands of the Westwood facility. This project was well planned and executed to date as we have not had any major unforeseen occurrences. We are also fortunate that the weather cooperated and allowed us to remain precisely on schedule. We now await the commencement of milling, and look forward to moving forward on further development of the Mirado pit itself," said Stephen Stewart, Orefinders CEO.
About Phase One of the Mirado Stockpile Project
Phase One is a resource that was blasted and mined from the Mirado open pit mine during its production in the 1980's. Orefinders has since completed a resource calculation on the Stockpiles which delineated an inferred resource of 20,742 tonnes at an average grade of 4.41 grams per tonne for a total of 2,939 contained gold ounces as disclosed in the Technical Report filed on Sedar on December 13, 2013.
