Vancouver, British Columbia – TheNewswire - July 28, 2025 – Rackla Metals Inc. (TSX-V: RAK) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that drilling is progressing well at the Grad property. With a single drill rig on the property crews are averaging approximately 50m per shift with the rig turning 24/7.
-
The drill is presently on the fourth hole, G25-004 with a target depth of 400m
-
Two holes were drilled from Pad A, G25-001 ended at 208m and G25-002 ended at 330m
-
One hole was drilled from Pad C, G25-003 that ended at 422m
All holes drilled to date have shown a consistent set of sheeted quartz/sulphide+tourmaline veins, with vein density averaging between 5 to 10 per metre and occasionally higher (Figure 1). The veins and vein margins contain bismuth sulphides, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. Sections of strongly sericitized quartz-diorite have been observed in all holes to date. These intensely altered sections exhibit less veining, but host disseminated bismuth sulphides. The first three holes have been logged and are currently being cut. The first shipment of drill core will be submitted to the lab today. Analyses are expected to take from 3 to 4 weeks.

Rock sampling from the base of the BiTe cliff, 100m to the west of the initial BiTe discovery channel returned 5 multi-gram gold samples of 14.40, 19.30, 17.65, 22.30 and 45.50 g/t gold (Figure 1). Two of these samples were of strongly sericitized quartz-diorite with little veining, no visible gold, but with disseminated bismuth sulfides in the intrusive host (Figure 2). The other three samples were of veined granodiorite with bismuthinite on the vein margins. Continuous rock chip sampling is being completed through this area and along the western limit of the talus-fine anomaly that returned 550 m with an average concentration of 1.06 g/t gold.
Figure 2 –Examples of BiTe zone mineralization. A- Strongly altered quartz-diorite with disseminated bismuthinite containing 22.3 g/t Au. B- Strongly altered quartz-diorite with mm wide fracture hosting grey bismuth sulphides and quartz-tourmaline vein containing 45.5 g/t Au.
Mapping and sampling are ongoing on the north and south faces of the upper reaches of the BiTe cliff with mountaineering geologists (Figure 3). Results of the initial sampling on the ridge top (16x1m chips) have returned low gold values associated with quartz-arsenopyrite veins. Arsenopyrite-bearing quartz veins at Grad typically occur near the contact with the sedimentary rocks. These results are interpreted as an indication that the top of the ridge has only recently been unroofed and that very little of the intrusive has eroded, the full carapace of the intrusive is likely still intact.
The geologists are sampling at different levels on the cliff face to determine where the transition from arsenopyrite-bearing veins to bismuthinite-bearing veins occurs.

The Company has contracted Minconsult Exploration Services to provide a certified Canadian Avalanche and Mountaineering Professional to guide its mountain safety program. The terrain on the Grad Property is extreme and the weather in the Rocky Mountains can be challenging. Rackla has relied heavily on the expertise of Minconsult to ensure the safety of all of the people working on the program including the geological and drilling crews.

CEO Simon Ridgway stated, “We are very pleased with the progress we have made to date and how rapidly we have been able to advance this target. The 2025 exploration season has presented some challenges including a late start due to a slow spring melt and a very wet start to the summer season, but our crews have been able to make significant progress. The planned 4,000m drill program will test an area measuring 600 m x 350 m x 500 m with the goal of demonstrating continuity to the mineralized zone at the BiTe discovery.
With success, the Company plans to submit a permit application for an airstrip and camp on the property to support a much larger program in 2026.”
Rackla is working in consultation with the Sahtu communities and remains committed to maintaining the respectful, collaborative relationships we’ve built with the Sahtu Dene First Nation. As we advance exploration at the Grad Project, we will continue working closely with local stakeholders and regulatory agencies to ensure our activities create long-term value and reflect community priorities.

About Rackla
Rackla Metals Inc. (TSX-V: RAK) is a Vancouver, Canada based junior gold exploration company. The Company is targeting Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS) mineralization on the southeastern part of the Tombstone Gold Belt in eastern Yukon and western Northwest Territories. Management believes that this area, which is underexplored for RIRGS deposit types, has the potential to be the next frontier for the discovery of these large gold systems.
