Vancouver, BC / TheNewswire / January 29th 2018 - Global Li-Ion Graphite Corp. ("LION" or, the "Company") (CSE: LION) is pleased to announce that it has initiated permitting to complete a confirmation and exploration winter drill program on the Neuron Graphite Project in the Thompson mining district of Northern Manitoba. The program is designed to further test and delineate the Callinex 2014 drill program which intersected a 4.1 meter section grading 60.38 % carbon graphite included in a 56.0 meter intersection grading 5.91% carbon content (Callinex news release April 24, 2014). Coarse flake graphite ranging from 100 um (micrometers) to 2000 um (1000 um = 1mm) was reported.
The Company also welcomes Mike Muzylowski to the advisory Board. Mr. Muzylowski is one of the mining industry's most successful explorer and developers, and in 2011 he was inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame. Mr. Muzylowski is recognized as being instrumental in the discovery and development of 16 mineral deposits that became producing mines, (thirteen in Manitoba, two in Nevada and one in the Northwest Territories), as well as the building of numerous successful mining companies over his impressive career.
Mr. Muzylowski's initial introduction to the graphite mineralization on the Neuron project happened during exploration work he was involved with in the 1960's. In 2014 Mike and his team at Callinex Mining Inc. followed up a historical graphite intersection resulting in the Neuron High Grade Graphite Project discovery.
