Toronto, ON / July 11, 2018 / JMN Wire / Cobalt 27 President and COO, Justin Cochrane, discusses the recent $300M streaming deal with Vale’s Voisey’s Bay Mine in Canada.
As a result of this major deal, effective January 1, 2021, Cobalt 27 and Wheaton PM will receive 32.6% and 42.4%, respectively, of cobalt production from Vale’s Voisey’s Bay mine. Cobalt 27’s 32.6% Cobalt Stream will deliver approximately 1.9 million pounds of cobalt per year to Cobalt 27, to be settled in physical delivery for the life of the mine.
