Warren Bates Becomes Director of Property Investigation for Harvest Gold

Vancouver, B.C. / TheNewswire / February 10, 2017 - Harvest Gold Corporation (TSX.V: HVG) (the "Company" or "Harvest Gold") is pleased to announce that Mr. Warren Bates, P. Geo (APGO #0211), has agreed to become the Company's Director of Property Investigation.

Mr. Bates has over 30 years of experience in mining and exploration, mainly in gold, porphyry copper, VMS and nickel. He has over 10 years of experience in the Vice President, Exploration role and, importantly, is also experienced in exploration and project acquisition and reserve resource reviews. He is presently consulting to Pelangio Exploration Inc (TSXV: PX) as their Vice President of Exploration, which the Company has agreed with Pelangio, is his primary responsibility.

The Company's President and CEO, Rick Mark, states: "Harvest Gold is focused on acquiring a substantial gold asset in a politically stable environment, while we asses our short-term plans in Suriname. The search is literally worldwide and is ultimately dependent on excellent technical Due Diligence. The Company has reviewed serval properties in the past three months, including in Suriname. Most recently the Company reviewed a gold producing opportunity in Brazil and is currently in Guyana meeting property owners.
