ABE Resources Reports on Annual Meeting

VAL-D'OR, QC, May 27, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - ABE Resources Inc. (the "Company") (TSXV: ABE) is pleased to report on the results of its Annual General Meeting held May 27, 2016 in Val d'Or, Québec.

The Company reports that Messrs. Yves Rougerie, Robert Bryce and Fred Burrows were re-elected directors of the Company. The shareholders also approved the re-appointment of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton LLP, Chartered Accountants as auditors for the Company and approved the Company's existing Incentive Stock Option Plan.

After serving on the Board of Directors as Co-Chairman since 2008, François Ruel chose not to run for re-election. ABE would like to thank Mr. Ruel for his many contributions to the Corporation over the years.

Following the Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors reappointed Yves Rougerie as President & CEO, Robert C. Bryce as Interim CFO and Fred Burrows as Corporate Secretary.
