GoldON Shareholders Approve Sale of Swayze Claims to Trelawney Mining and Exploration, a Subsidiary of IAMGOLD

Victoria, British Columbia (FSCwire) - GoldON Resources Ltd. (“GoldON” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: GLD) is pleased to announce the results of the Annual and Special General Meeting of Shareholders held on November 8, 2016, in Victoria. 

All resolutions outlined in the Information Circular of October 4, 2016 (available on SEDAR) were ratified. This includes the sale of a 100% interest in GoldON’s Swayze mining claims (located in the District of Sudbury in northeastern Ontario) to Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc., a subsidiary of IAMGOLD Corporation. The Company expects the transaction will close shortly, subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance and the receipt by Trelawney and GoldON of deliverables customary for a transaction of this nature.
