Lomiko has focused over the last two years on building La Loutre project, rerating its inferred resources into measured and indicated and the metallurgical and electrochemical testing of its La Loutre graphite with the sole purpose of demonstrating that it could be used to produce anode material suitable for battery production in EVs and consumer electronics in addition to the industrial applications. The efforts above resulted in rating La Loutre as the 7th biggest graphite deposit worldwide and proving that we can make batteries out of the La Loutre ore.
